Students from the arts & science colleges of Puducherry were invited for the celebrations and an essay competition was conducted for the students. Mohana Priya from Achariya Arts and Science College bagged the First Prize of Rs. 2000, while Lakshmi and Mohammed Rasitha Banu of Bharathidason Government College for Women bagged the Second Prize & Third Prize of Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 respectively.
